Fresh blue eyes, big as saucers.
4 months today.
I’m getting my body back! Shrinking out of clothes. Thankful for the newness. I really feel like I get a new body with every baby. It feels so fresh and miraculous to step out of the new baby fog. The mist thins gradually– and then, “Oh! I recognize you!” Only, it seems better, more miraculous. Stronger.
Thank you body. Thank you for my babies. Thank you for recovery– for discovery.

That’s an awesome photo! Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I was just talking to a friend today who had a baby more than a year ago and she was reassuring me that once the baby is born, my body will come back to normal, slowly; though it may seem to me now that it can’t be possible! I don’t worry much about how I will look after, but surely hope my RSI will get better.

I was going to tell you on Sunday how fabulous you look! The dress you wore looked terrific.
He’s such a cutie! I enjoyed holding him yesterday!

wow jess he is really cute. i love how his foot is out of focus. i imagine it kicking back and forth, never quite stopping. i am jelouse that your body comes back seemingly effortlessly. mine is coming back but it seems to be so slow and with lots of effort. i miss you
